Victoria Park is a place of yearly festivities and grand summer concerts. On the 19th of August, one of the most creative and mysterious electronic music producers – Aphex Twin – had a hugely awaited performance on Field Day 2023.
The day’s line-up was filled with well-known names in the electronic music scene, such as Fever Ray, Bonobo, Arca and many others. Arca is a Venezuelan electronic music producer, and she took the main stage right before Aphex Twin. She’s known for her incomparable style and unique sound, and her set made the crowd jump the minute she started playing.
While Arca entertained the public on the East stage, Bonobo played his set on the West Stage. He and his band had a refreshing sound of electronic music combined with the sounds of musicians who played the guitars, drums and wind instruments. He brought a cleansing light atmosphere that was perfect for a summer day.
On the East stage, the night’s headliner – Aphex Twin – began his set, and it was an unexpected rollercoaster filled with strobing lights and mind-blowing artworks paired with chaotic trance-inducing sound.
