Back with a brand new single, 'What's Going On Here?' is a three minute pocket opus that defies categorisation in the same way the Avalanches made their own. It features the full range of IDC's multi-instrumental talents with a piano hook that recalls David Holmes' seminal '69 Police' through to a warped cello that gives an intriguingly psychedelic edge.

This is the first new track from IDC's upcoming as yet untitled third album due for release later in 2015. The London DJ and music maker has seen music from his first two albums feature in major films and games releases over the past few years.

'B' side 'Imaginary Bones' is an incendiary live version of the track featuring Lo Fidelity Allstar Phil Ward on vocals with a massive festival sound that gives The Prodigy a run for their money.

IDC is David McCarthy, the DJ/recording artist from London.

As well as being a multi-instrumentalist writer/producer/recording artist, IDC has built up an international DJ reputation for his headline sets at many of DJ Mag's World Top 100 clubs such as Zouk Singapore, Razzmatazz Barcelona and Volar Hong Kong. European festivals appearances include Bestival, Sziget and Summercase along with massive support slots to Calvin Harris, 2ManyDJs and Erol Alkan.
