Abandcalledboy are a four piece pop-infused noise-rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland who used to be band called ‘Boy’. Having gained the attention of the music press in the UK and Ireland with features in Team Rock, Rocksound, Hot Press and The Thin Air, the band recently released the newest instalment in a series of self-produced singles: the adoringly titled “LA Dick”.
Abandcalledboy’s snotty lyricism and startlingly melodic broad-band fuzz have seen them garner support from BBC Radio 1 & BBC Radio 6 and the group have toured throughout the UK and Ireland, sharing the stage with acts such as The Futureheads, And So I Watch You From Afar and Rolo Tomassi.
