THE KOOKS release new track ‘Four Leaf Clover’ – Listen Now

THE KOOKS share empowering video for 'All The Time' - Watch Now

The Kooks today revealed ‘Four Leaf Clover’; the latest track taken from their forthcoming album Let’s Go Sunshine, which is due out on 31st August via Lonely Cat/AWAL Recordings. This follows the recent announcement of a short UK tour in September, which will see the band play intimate gigs in Belfast, London, Oban, Middlesbrough and Bexhill-on-Sea, in support of the album release.

‘Four Leaf Clover’ follows the fortunes of a down-and-out girl, who turns to drugs and alcohol to battle the loss of her lover. Despite its dark subject matter, it’s just the slice of acoustic guitar-driven pop rock that launched The Kooks into the spotlight over a decade ago. Luke Pritchard’s instantly recognisable vocals flow effortlessly over a rousing rhythm and energetic guitar licks, making ‘Four Leaf Clover’ an infectious retelling of an all too familiar tale.

Brighton-based four piece The Kooks have enjoyed a steady ascent since their 2006 debut album Inside in/Inside Out, which earned them a BRIT Award nomination for ‘She Moves in Her Own Way’ and was recently certified quadruple platinum. Their follow up Konk debuted at the top spot in the UK Official Chart and now a new breed of fans have seen them gain a total of over 1 billion streams, across multiple platforms, and embark on number of sold out tours, including a UK arena tour last year and a recent US and Latin American run.

Catch The Kooks this September for a run of intimate live shows across 5 UK locations including Oban and Sussex’s Bexhill-on-Sea, alongside Belfast, London and Middlesbrough.
