Scottish singer-songwriter Rianne Downey has just announced her headline gig in Lavery’s, Belfast, on December 3rd 2023.
Rianne is a versatile and innovative performer. Busking on the streets of Glasgow provided the best foundation for Rianne’s career. It helped her to be resilient and taught her to adapt to any situation. When lockdown began, Rianne used it to her advantage. She began live streaming and posted her covers online. This helped her to build a community of like-minded followers who supported her. Many of the covers Rianne posted showed her unique style to the world. She proved that she could put her country twist onto just about any genre.
Due to incredible demand and a longing to produce her own songs, Rianne released her debut single, “Fuel to the Flame”, in 2021. This song is about inspiring people to make the most of their time here. Rianne’s inspirational lyrics recount the age-old saying that the only way is up.
The same could be said for Rianne’s career, as she has grown in popularity over the years. Rianne most recently released her single “Dancing in the Rain”, which was met with a terrific reception by fans. Showing no signs of slowing down, Rianne is releasing her new EP “Method to My Madness” on June 9th.
