Singer/songwriter Josh Savage has been building a loyal fanbase one living room at a time. In 2018 he played 79 shows across 5 months ( The Living Room Tour) – culminating in a performance at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
Last week he released his new single ‘Citizen Of The World’. Josh was initially surprised, then astounded, then angry, then very angry, and then creative when the referendum results were announced in 2016. He then sat down and wrote ‘Citizen Of The World’.
“Why would you close doors rather than open them?” he thought. He then moved to Berlin to breathe creative fresh air and get away from the madness.
‘Citizen of the World’, a reference to Theresa May’s infamous ‘citizens of nowhere’ speech, is a tranquil anthem for the millions and millions of young people watching in horror as their future – a future promised, paid for and essential – is pulled to pieces before their eyes.
