What you can bring to Anfield

Swifties should take into account certain things that are allowed to pass through the check-in at the show. This is to get you all readied up and filled with fan excitement to get the show on the road. Here’s a rundown of some things to bring with you to show support. If this is your first time attending a Taylor Swift concert, this will be the perfect guide for the things you can bring to Anfield Stadium, Liverpool.

Signs

First on the list are signs. Fans can hold up signs at Taylor Swift’s Anfield Eras Tour concert. However, it is noteworthy to be considerate of other attendees and not obstruct their view of the concert with your sign. So it is advisable to keep the sign moderate and avoid supporting it with any kind of pole or stick as this will be confiscated at the entrance. Keep it light and moderate and write only characters and brands that are related to the Eras Tour.

Friendship Bracelets

One thing Swifties have in common is friendship bracelets and it is a tradition in Swift’s Eras Tour They see it as some connection and bond that keeps them strong and together.

So if you have one, do well to slap it on your wrist before coming. This is a form of connecting with other fans there and even Swift herself creating memories that will last a lifetime. This shows a sense of loyalty and love for her. Fun fact, Taylor Swift met Travis Kelce after he tried giving her a friendship bracelet during the Eras Tour but failed. This is one of the reasons friendship bracelets are important for any Swifties.

Binoculars

The Anfield stadium is massive and will be filled up. So to get every part of Taylor Swift’s performance irrespective of where you are standing or sitting in Anfield, you will need binoculars. This will help you not to miss any bit of the show and you’ll view it more closely so do well to carry them along with you. You never might know what will catch your eye.

Digital Camera

One important thing to carry along with you to the Eras Tour performance is a digital camera. Having a camera will help in recording the entire performance and sustain your device battery during the tour cause we wouldn’t want it going off anytime during the show and miss any of Swift’s performances.

Loyal Swifties know what I’m talking about. Most people prefer using their phones to record. That’s fine, however, a digital camera would prove more useful. Aside from the fact that it sustains battery durability, it could prove effective if you wanted to update your socials and record at the same time for memories. You could record with your camera and update your socials with your device. All sorted out!

A4 Sized Bags

These bags come in handy at tours such as the Eras Tour, trust me. This is where you’ll keep all your belongings for safekeeping. For example, when you are not using your device or camera or even when you want to cheer loudly for Taylor while holding up your sign, the A4-sized bag will come in handy at this point to keep all your belongings.

What You Can’t Bring To Anfield

Now that you are all caught up on some of the things you can bring to Anfield, here is a rundown of prohibited items not allowed at Anfield: all

Drugs And Alcohol

Drugs and alcohol are prohibited from entering Anfield. Drugs most especially as they can make you lose access to the Eras Tour concert if being found on you. However, the only way one can have alcohol is when you purchase it within the Stadium. In that case, if you know you want to drink alcohol, ensure to come along with your ID.

Weapons

Weapons are prohibited from entering Anfield and as such, these fall under that category; Tripods, selfie sticks, poles, and sticks. So if found on you, they will either be confiscated by the security, dumped by you or you lose access to the concert.

Big Umbrellas

Umbrellas of any sort are entirely restricted on concert grounds because they block the view of other concert attendees.

Accessibility

Every Swiftie can access the Anfield Stadium, including those needing special assistance as there are 111 available spaces for wheelchair users. As for convenience, there are restrooms within Anfield. To easily locate them, you can go to the concourses and the hospitality areas among other locations. There will also be tour guides and signs to help you locate these places, so don’t stress it everything will work out fine.

Anfield is one of the complicated grounds to reach by public transportation but don’t worry we have you covered. If you are coming by bus, you can take the 26 from Liverpool ONE bus station or the 17 from Queen’s Square, depending on the part of the city you are coming from, link up with the 27, 68, 14 or 19 which all stop within walking distance of Anfield stadium.

If you are coming by train, know that there is no direct train link to Anfield, so get off at Sandhills station which is a 30 minute walk uphill to the ground. Those coming by train should be aware that paper tickets are still in use for trains, so you won’t be able to use your phone as a ticket. If you are coming by taxi, then you need to know that Liverpool operates a black cab system Like in London. For those driving and looking for parking spaces, you can find one in Goodison and on Priory Road.
