Paris’ festival Rock en Seine returns next summer for its 18th edition on 25th – 28th August 2022, and today we announce two more brilliant acts ready to take to the Parc de Saint-Cloud main stage during a special day.
Today we are excited to reveal that rock titans Rage Against The Machine will make their long-awaited return to Rock en Seine on Tuesday 30th August. With their last French performance being in 2008, the US four-piece will no doubt receive a hero’s welcome as they demonstrate why they are still one of the best around in rock music, 30 years on from their formation. Joining them are the equally raging hip hop duo Run The Jewels, with many more to be announced.
Last month, Rock en Seine announced a huge national exclusive, global rock icons Arctic Monkeys will headline on Thursday 25th August, joined by IDLES, James Blake, Parcels, Yungblud, Beabadoobee, Channel Tres, Inhaler and Squid.
Also previously announced for Rock en Seine 2022: Tame Impala, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Stromae, Kraftwerk, Jamie xx, La Femme, The Blaze plus FKJ, Aurora, DIIV, Los Bitchos, Malik Djoudi, Jehnny Beth and The Limiñanas. Rock en Seine is a festival with something for everyone, bringing every genre you could ask for with some of the world’s best live acts.
Matthieu Ducos, GM of Rock en Seine Festival, says, “Once again, Rage Against The Machine has chosen Rock en Seine for their national exclusive show next summer. It’s been 14 years since their last performance at the festival in 2008 and so the anticipation for them to return back to France couldn’t be greater. We are so excited that this legendary band is now joining the already amazing Rock en Seine 2022 line up.”
