ARCHIVE announce ‘Call To Arms & Angels (Deluxe Edition)’ & share video for new single ‘Vice’

Acclaimed South London collective Archive announce the release of Call To Arms & Angels (Deluxe Edition) ahead of the band’s mammoth European tour, which kicks off October 5.

The Deluxe Edition of the band’s twelfth studio album is released October 6 via Dangervisit and comes with demo versions of all 17 tracks featured on the original album, plus four previously unreleased tracks recorded during the original album sessions, including new single “Vice”.

Talking about the new single Archive’s Darius Keeler said, “Vice is a standout song that we recorded during the Call to Arms & Angels sessions. It didn’t make the album, but we always loved it, and wanted to keep it in its rawest form. We are so happy to finally put it out for everyone to hear!”

Out now, the single ‘Vice’ is accompanied by a video directed by Ben Sommers and Dean Austin, the filmmakers behind Archive documentary ‘Super8: A Call To Arms & Angels’. Filmed on an old family Super-8mm camera that Keeler found whilst clearing out the loft of his childhood family home, the documentary charts the writing and recording of the album in between Covid lockdowns.

Call To Arms & Angels was originally released in April 2022 and became the band’s highest charting album to date, including Top10 album placings in Germany, France, Belgium, and Poland.
