MAC DEMARCO – shares “I’ve Been Waiting For Her”- Listen

Less than a month until the release of Another One, Mac DeMarco offers up yet another new song. This time around, it’s one of the record’s more upbeat numbers. “I’ve Been Waiting For Her” fits comfortably amongst the mini-LPs playful, relevant, never too somber, love songs. It’s classic Mac – his warm vocals immediately recognizable and welcoming, his approach laid back and real.

Whether BBQing, playing Jenga with Shamir, or performing at festivals across the USA, Mac’s been keeping busy leading into Another One’s release. Last week, he held a BBQ in Brooklyn, where he served up hot dogs to any attendees who brought a food donation. Over 700 people showed up, resulting in an entire car full of non-perishable donations for the food bank. Mac will play Solid Sound, the Pitchfork Music Festival, Outside Lands, and FYF (where he’ll have his own tent!), as well as embark on his own headlining tour, including a four-night sold-out run in New York City and two night at The Roundhouse, London, in September.
