Today signifies an exciting blend in the music industry as dance music producers Daybreakers introduce their latest collaboration with rock musicians Radio Company, “Quarter To (Remix)”. Daybreakers have radically transformed Radio Company’s original track ‘Quarter To’ into a melodic progressive anthem with infectious beats and captivating vocal harmonies.
“Quarter To (Remix)” skillfully combines Daybreakers’ energetic, dance-driven style with Radio Company’s powerful rock vocals and harmonies resulting in a genre-crossing anthem designed to excite and energize.

Made up of Ric Scot and Alex Hush, the duo between them has credentials that stack up high. Ric has worked on some of the best dance and trance tunes, including with Warp Brothers, Ian Van Dahl, Paul Van Dyk, Moogwai, and more recently, Lady Gaga, Paul Hardcastle and Hemstock & Jennings.
Alex is also known as one half of the production duo Koishii & Hush, who have released their own tracks and collaborated with New Order’s Gillian Gilbert and Duran Duran’s John Taylor.
Ric and Alex first collaborated together on a remix for Erasure before deciding to make Daybreakers an ongoing project. Their first remix as Daybreakers was for the U2 single ‘Love Is Bigger Than Anything In It’s Way’, which helped propel the song to the top spot on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart. With the success of the U2 remix, they were asked to remix Madonna’s single ‘I Rise’, which also took the #1 spot, giving Madonna her 48th #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart.

A 17-track double album, Radio Company—Live from Nashville, was released on November 24, 2023.
I love Quarter To(all three of Radio Company’s albums are amazing but Volume 2, which includes the original version of this song, is my favorite) and this collaboration is an incredible version that enhances the original.
