American music star Teddy Swims is gearing up to continue touring next year, with tour dates and venues already announced for his highly acclaimed “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy” tour. 

In Part 1 of his “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy” album, Swims was very expressive about his mental health issues and his struggles with insecurities.

However, he promised to tackle these issues; therefore, his upcoming album and tour in 2025 will be a testimony of his triumph.

Background

Born Jaten Collin Dimsdale, the Georgia-born singer began his music career in Atlanta, performing with several bands like Eris and Elefvnts. His stage name, “Swims,” is actually an acronym, which stands for “Someone Who Isn’t Me Sometimes.” In 2019, Swims began posting cover performances of artists on YouTube like Michael Jackson, Lewis Capaldi, Shania Twain, and others.

His videos accumulated millions of views, and by December of the same year, he signed his first professional record deal with Warner.

I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part I)

The 31-year-old Georgia-born artist released his debut album, “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy,” on September 15, 2023.

The album takes fans on an emotionally walloping journey of Teddy’s mental health, his path to self-discovery, and healing. The album’s lead single, “Lose Control, released in May, earned Teddy his first entry and top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. Also, the song was among the top ten songs in 23 countries, including the UK Singles Chart. Other songs on the album include “The Door,” “What More Can I Say,” “Some Things I’ll Never Know,” “Flame,” etc.

The body of work is truly a masterpiece, worth the wait. The second part of his recent album, “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1),” will be released next year in January. After the release of the album, Swims said that he will seek professional help; thus, the second part of this album is expected to be a lyrical description of his journey in therapy.

“I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2),” which Warner Records is set to release, will feature 13 new songs and carry on the creative era he started with Part 1 last September. We now know that the album will contain the previously released singles “Bad Dreams,” “Funeral,” and “Hammer to the Heart,” but the titles of the other tracks are still unknown.

I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2) tour

Swims has announced a run of arena shows for his upcoming tour in support of the second part of his breakthrough album, “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1).” The tour will kick off in Germany at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Dusseldorf on February 11. He will also make stops in Berlin and Hamburg as part of his Germany shows before headlining a one-night show at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium.

The singer will also play in Sweden, Denmark, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, France, and Switzerland.The hip-hop swagger musician announced additional dates for the tour on September 12, 2024. These dates are UK shows in Birmingham, two shows at the OVO Arena in Wembley on May 6 and 7, and another two in Manchester. He will make stops in Ireland at the 3Arena, Dublin.

The North American leg will kick off on May 9 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Furthermore, Swims will make stops in Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place, Orange Beach, Wilmington, and Charlotte; a one-night performance in Sterling Heights will see Swims press pause and make a detour to Canada for two shows on May 23 and 24 in Toronto and Laval’s Place Bell, respectively.

He will continue his US run at Radio City Music Hall in New York on May 27. Swims will conclude the tour in the City of Lights, Los Angeles, California, at the Greek Theatre on September 9.
