In a follow up to his 2015 sophomore album eyeamsound, multimedia artist Zahed Sultan (Kuwait) releases a new single ‘Cake & Butter’.
‘Cake & Butter’ is a gritty, alternative rock song with an infectious chorus. The verses are an abstract, social commentary on the practise within Kuwait of daughters being ‘buttered up’ for potential suitors to uphold archaic family tradition.
Zahed Sultan is a multimedia artist, social entrepreneur, culture producer, and filmmaker from Kuwait. His music has been licensed for television, film and music compilations.
Zahed has been featured on renowned media platforms as an emerging artist and tours internationally with a live audio-visual experience.
