Alternative rock icons, Linkin Park, have mesmerised audiences since their groundbreaking debut in 2000 with “Hybrid Theory.”

Rapidly taking over rock airwaves, the band sold millions of albums while delivering intense, emotionally resonant tracks such as “One Step Closer,” “Crawling,” and “In the End.”

Frequently categorised under nu-metal, rap-rock, or alternative metal, their music connected with listeners in a way few early 2000s bands managed to replicate.

Their next album, “Meteora,” elevated their prominence even further, attaining multi-platinum certification and featuring enduring hits like “Numb,” “Breaking the Habit,” and “Faint,” cementing their status as one of the most influential rock groups worldwide.

July 2017 saw the devastating passing of lead vocalist Chester Bennington, leaving fans grieving and seemingly bringing the band’s journey to an end. Although a tribute concert was held that year, Linkin Park largely retreated from the spotlight until their latest announcement.

On 5 September 2024, the band revealed plans for a new album and tour, introducing Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara as their new co-vocalist. This marks a new era for the group, honouring their legacy while exploring fresh musical directions.

Celebrated for fusing Chester Bennington’s powerful vocals with Mike Shinoda’s distinctive rap delivery, alongside an outstanding ensemble, Linkin Park’s sound defined a generation.

The multi-award-winning band is now set for their long-awaited return with the “From Zero World Tour,” their first live tour in seven years.

From Zero album

Linkin Park unveiled their eighth studio album, “From Zero,” on 15 November 2024, marking their first release since “One More Light” in 2017. This record pays homage to their legacy while encouraging fans to embrace their ongoing evolution, even as they continue without their late vocalist, Chester Bennington, who sadly passed away in 2017.

For this project, the band introduced new creative collaborators, including Emily Armstrong as lead vocalist and Collin Brittain, whose drumming brought a distinctive influence to the album’s sound. “From Zero” merges their signature nu-metal foundations with fresh elements shaped by Armstrong’s vocal dynamics.

Featuring 11 tracks, the album includes standout singles such as “The Emptiness Machine,” “Heavy Is the Crown,” “Cut the Bridge,” “Two-Faced,” and “IGYEIH.” Notably, “Heavy Is the Crown” was included in the soundtrack for Arcane’s second season.

Following its release, the album achieved remarkable chart success, securing Linkin Park’s first UK Albums Chart number-one spot since “Living Things” in 2012. It also attained gold certification in Germany and topped Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart. In the U.S., “From Zero” debuted at number two, selling over 97,000 copies, trailing Ateez’s “Golden Hour Part 2,” which moved 184,000 units.

From Zero World Tour

On 14 November, Linkin Park revealed plans to extend their “From Zero World Tour,” which will resume in January 2025 with over 50 additional dates. This tour, in support of their latest album “From Zero”—released under Warner Records—will take the band to stadiums and arenas across Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America.

Major stops include renowned festivals such as “I-DAYS,” “Novarock,” and “Sick New World.” Marking their first tour in seven years and their first without Chester Bennington, the journey began on 11 September 2024 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, featuring sold-out performances across the U.S., Brazil, South Korea, England, Germany, and more. The 2024 leg concluded with two packed shows in São Paulo, Brazil, before a grand finale in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 12 December.

The 2025 segment kicks off on 31 January in Mexico City at Estadio GNP Seguros, followed by performances in Zapopan and Monterrey on 3 and 5 February. The band will then deliver back-to-back shows in Japan before embarking on a worldwide tour.

In North America, the first performance takes place on 26 April at Austin’s Moody Centre, with stops in Tulsa, Baltimore, Raleigh, and Columbus, concluding on 17 May in Daytona Beach. Their European tour includes appearances in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and more, with a highly anticipated Wembley Stadium concert. The Latin American leg begins on 26 October in Bogotá, Colombia, before travelling through Chile, Argentina, and Peru, and wrapping up in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

With “From Zero,” Linkin Park has reignited their passion, drawing in fresh audiences. Emily Armstrong is set to bring a dynamic new energy to their performances.

Throughout the tour, Queens of the Stone Age, JPEGMAFIA, AFI, Spiritbox, Grandson, Jean Dawson, and Pvris will join the band on select dates, elevating the experience for fans worldwide.

What You Can Bring to Wembley

Phones and power banks

Attendees can bring mobile phones and small power banks into the venue. Phones are essential for communication and capturing key moments, while a power bank ensures devices remain charged throughout the event. Extended use and long wait times can drain batteries, making a portable charger invaluable for staying connected and recording highlights.

Drinks purchased Inside

Beverages are permitted in the standing area but must be transferred into plastic cups, as bottles are not allowed. Additionally, free water stations are available along the pitch’s edges, ensuring attendees stay hydrated.

Walking aids

Items such as crutches, walking sticks, and protective boots are allowed in seated sections. However, due to safety concerns, these aids are not permitted in the standing area during events held on the floor.

Prohibited and restricted items

Bags

Wembley Stadium enforces strict bag size restrictions. Any bag larger than A4 dimensions (297 mm x 210 mm x 210 mm) will not be allowed inside. Bags must fit these exact measurements without being overfilled or folded to meet the limits.

Security Checks: Bags will be inspected at an outdoor checkpoint using a bag gauge to ensure compliance. Additional checks, such as wanding or pat-downs, may also be conducted.

Medical Exceptions: Attendees needing larger bags must contact the stadium in advance. Merchandise will be distributed in clear plastic bags for security purposes.

Official Bag Dimensions:

Height: 297 mm (11.7 inches)

Width: 210 mm (8.27 inches)

Depth: 210 mm (8.27 inches)

Inflatable Objects

All inflatable items are strictly banned, as they can distract performers and disrupt events. Local police authorities enforce this policy to maintain safety and order.

Noise-producing devices

Items such as vuvuzelas, large rattles, air horns, and whistles are prohibited to prevent disturbances to players, performers, and audiences. This rule aligns with stricter post-2010 World Cup regulations designed to enhance the event experience.

Drones

Drones and other remote-controlled flying devices are not permitted due to their potential security risks, safety concerns, and capacity to distract event participants. Additionally, unauthorised recording of performances using drones violates copyright regulations.

Confetti and Streamers

Confetti and streamers are forbidden as they may distract performers and security personnel and increase the risk of slips and injuries.

Lasers and laser pointers

Laser devices and laser pointers are banned, as they can temporarily blind performers or other attendees, creating serious safety hazards.

View-obstructing costumes

Outfits that block the view of other attendees are not allowed. However, medical masks and religious garments are exempt, provided they do not impair visibility for those around or behind the wearer.
