The Mary Wallopers announce ‘7 Drunken Nights’ Irish tour for Christmas 2024

The Mary Wallopers

Hot on the heels of their iconic main stage performance at Electric Picnic, The Mary Wallopers announce their biggest Irish tour to date.

Titled ‘7 Drunken Nights,’ the Christmas tour includes four nights at Dublin’s Vicar Street, plus shows at Killarney Arena and Cork City Hall, culminating in a huge show at Belfast’s SSE Arena on Sunday, December 29th.

7 Drunken Nights is both an instruction and a nod to the traditional song of the same name, which The Dubliners made famous in 1967. The single was banned in Ireland before reaching No 1.

The Mary Wallopers are currently working on a follow-up to Irish Rock’n’Roll, which charted at No. 2 in Ireland in October 2023.

The Mary Wallopers will play:

Sat 14th Dec Dublin Vicar Street

Sun 15th Dec Dublin Vicar Street

Sat 21st Dec Killarney Gleneagle INEC Arena

Mon 23rd Dec Cork City Hall

Fri 27th Dec Dublin Vicar Street

Sat 28th Dec Dublin Vicar Street

Sun 29th Dec Belfast The SSE Arena

Tickets go on sale this Friday (23rd August) at 9:30 a.m. via Ticketmaster. The band will play a series of previously announced shows at Glasgow Barrowland on December 16th, 18th, and 19th.
