Steven Wilson has announced details of two very special live shows due to take place in the autumn. Following on from 2025’s globe-spanning tour, Steven Wilson will return to the Royal Albert Hall for the seventh time to play two shows with his band and an orchestra.
The shows will take place on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th October. Tickets go on sale on 20th February at 10am.
Each Royal Albert Hall performance will see Steven and band take the stage at one of the most iconic concert venues in the UK. Although Steven has played the venue before, this will be the first time he and his band have been accompanied by the Parallax Orchestra and a choir of singers performing previously unheard arrangements of The Overview tracks prepared especially for these Royal Albert Hall shows by one of the Parallax Orchestra’s founders Simon Dobson.
These Royal Albert Hall shows will be the only Steven Wilson live dates in 2026.
Steven Wilson’s space inspired masterpiece The Overview was voted Album of the Year in both Classic Rock and Prog magazines, and was one of the Albums of the Year in Mojo. It charted at No 3 in the UK Album Charts. Steven’s last tour (with players Randy McStine: guitar, Adam Holzman: keyboards, Nick Beggs: bass, Craig Blundell: drums) journeyed from Northern Europe to the south of Australia, stopping at most points in between.
One of the early UK shows was described by The Guardian as “an interstellar sound voyage with Floydian grandeur”.
