In support of her 12th studio album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ which was released on March 22, 2022, she will embark on her seventh world tour to promote the album and entertain her She-wolves who have been loyal in streams and cheer since El Dorado World Tour.

The title of her album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” which translates to ” Women No Longer Cry,” is a testament to her resilience as a woman in her relationship and the music industry. It also conveys a powerful message on female empowerment.

COMMERCIAL SUCCESS

The album was a commercial success and was a well-received work of art. In its first weeks of release, the album amassed 26.73 million official streams. It also debuted at no.13 on the US Billboard Hot 200. It debuted at no.1 on the Top Latin Albums and Top Latin Pop Albums Chart in its first week of release. The album’s lead single “Cohete” was a hit in the US and Latin America.

Other hit songs from the track include “Te Felecito”, Monotonía”, “TQG”, “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53”, Acróstico, etc.

Her previous tours were successful, as revealed by their grossing records in ticket sales. Her first tour, “Pies Descalzos World Tour” which kicked off on Nov 30, 1997 and ran till October 9, 1997, was a commercial success.

It introduced her to the global stage as a Latina superstar. With $6 million grossed from ticket sales. “Tour Anfibio” amassed $3.5 million from ticket revenue at the end of the tour in May 2000. Not taking her feet off the throttle, she kicked off her next tour the following year, “The Mongoose World Tour.”

By then she was an international icon, and $72 million was realized from ticket sales. Her next tours; Oral Fixation World Tour, The Sun Comes Out World Tour and El Dorado of 2018 saw her amass gross figures of $178 million, $120 million and $75 million from ticket sales, respectively.

LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR

The Grammy Award singer made a surprise return to the music universe with her twelfth studio album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” released on March 22, 2024.

She explored themes of courage, feminism, and women’s rights in the album. In the same month, she performed at the New York Times, pulling a total of 40,000 fans to the performance.

Even after a brief hiatus, the performance revealed that she’s still got that Latina jizz that her fans love about her.

During the Coachella Festival, on April 13, 2024, Shakira was presented as a special guest of Bizarrap, the Argentine Disc Jockey and Music producer while he was on set at the Sahara Tent.

There, she announced that she would be going on her next tour, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour. The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to begin on November 2, 2024. Furthermore, she announced on April 15, 2024, the dates for her 14 shows in the United States.

This information had fans buzzing with excitement. The Latin Megastar gave the fans in attendance and those watching at home a preview of what is to come, performing her song, El Fuerto, featuring DJ Bizarrap. Certainly, a thirst trap for her fans.

Phoenix, Dallas, Detroit, Miami, and Toronto are among the cities included in her Star Trek. It is expected that Shakira will perform songs from her recent album and hits from her previous albums. Probably, fans in the US will get to see her perform her hits, ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ and ‘Wherever, Whenever’

Furthermore, she made a post on social media teasing her fans after the Coachella announcement. “I’m so thrilled to announce the first dates for my LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR, a celebration for my wolfpack!”

Following overwhelming ticket demands, the Colombian singer decided to extend her trek with 3 more shows. The official 18-show swing will kick off on November 2, 2024, at the Acrisure Arena in California and will end on December 21, 2024, in Los Angeles.

Shakira’s fans in Canada will be gearing up for an exhilarating experience when the Colombian-born singer graces the Scotiabank Arena stage on November 30 in Toronto before returning to the United States in December to conduct two shows.

A second return to Canada is scheduled for 10 December before finally returning to the United States to conclude the “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” with a three-day show which will wrap up on 21 December at the renowned 56,000-seat Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
