Paul Weller Announces 2026 Belfast Show at Custom House Square

Across five decades, Paul Weller’s songs have become part of the fabric of British music — and on Wednesday 24th June 2026, he brings that remarkable catalogue to Custom House Square, Belfast, joined by special guests.

His 28-album body of work stands alongside heroes like Lennon, McCartney and Ray Davies. Yet despite the Brit Awards, the Ivor Novellos and eight Number One albums, Weller treats his past like a quick glance in the rear-view mirror — always moving forward.

That modernist spirit shaped him from the start. The Jam exploded onto the scene with 1977’s In The City, now hailed with Never Mind the Bollocks and London Calling as a punk-era landmark.

After ending The Jam at their peak, Weller reinvented himself with Mick Talbot in The Style Council, joined by Steve White and Dee C. Lee, delivering classics such as Shout To The Top and My Ever Changing Moods — songs that still light up his live sets.

As a solo artist, he carved his own lane with Wild Wood and Stanley Road, helping define a new era of British guitar music. His restless creativity has continued into the 21st century through albums like 22 Dreams, On Sunset, and 2024’s 66 — vibrant, life-affirming work from an artist still evolving.

What drives Weller now is what’s next — another electric show, another day at Black Barn, another song chiselling away at the self-portrait he’s been crafting for half a century. It won’t be complete until the final note is written. Until then, everything is still to play for.
