It will be a nostalgic moment for the brothers as they will take the stage in 2025 to perform at several big stadiums around the world.

The reunion has sparked many questions; however, the brothers have confirmed their tour with an announcement and the release of dates for their stadium shows.

Oasis Live ‘25 Tour

Oasis’ highly anticipated reunion tour, “Oasis Live ’25 Tour,” will begin on July 4, 2025, at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and end on November 23, 2025, at São Paulo’s Estádio do Morumbi. This is the band’s first live appearance since their separation in 2009. The tour was announced on August 27, 2024, which coincided with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, “Definitely Maybe.” The band is set to perform on sold-out dates across multiple cities, including Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Brazil, Mexico City, and Chile.

Fans are excited to see the band perform; the announcement has pushed six of Oasis’ songs to re-enter the top 20 on the UK charts, including “Live Forever,” which peaked at number 8 for the first time. The tour will include gigs in the US at Chicago’s Soldier Field and MetLife Stadium and two shows in Pasadena, while the UK leg will commence in Cardiff, and the band will work their way through major cities like Manchester and London’s Wembley Stadium. They will also headline shows in Scotland and Dublin’s Croke Park, with several dates in Australia also. The tour initially included 17 performances in five cities in the UK and Ireland, including five at Wembley Stadium in London and Heaton Park in Manchester. However, due to high demand for tickets, additional dates have been added.

Since their reunion announcement, critics have accused the band of being a remnant of the past and are just trying to gain relevance again, thus announcing a reunion tour. However, fans remain enthused, with many ready to see the band’s renowned live performances again. The tour’s ticketing process has also been controversial, with fans complaining about long queues, 503 error messages, and expensive fees on resale. Despite the hurdles, the tour is projected to earn a significant sum, with projections predicting that the Gallagher brothers could earn a whopping sum of £50 million each at the end of the tour.

Burying the hatchet

After a decade-long feud, the Gallagher brothers have decided to put their animosity aside and get back on the road again. The reunification, announced in August 2024, has sent shockwaves of excitement across the music industry, with fans eagerly awaiting the band’s reunion tour. During their show at the Rock en Seine Festival in Paris in 2009, which resulted in Noel’s resignation from the band. The schism was spurred by creative differences, personal difficulties, and public feuds.

Liam, who took over as lead vocalist, struggled to fill Noel’s shoes, and the band’s subsequent albums failed to match their previous success. However, behind the scenes, tensions began to ease. In 2022, Liam publicly stated who took over as lead vocalist, struggled to fill Noel’s shoes, and the band’s subsequent albums failed to rekindle its previous success.

However, behind the scenes, tensions began to ease. In 2022, Liam publicly praised Noel’s solo work, indicating a gradual change in their relationship. This newfound respect was reinforced when Noel applauded Liam’s solo album, “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” which was released in 2022.

The brothers had been apart for years, and fans are eager to witness their synergy on stage. In an interview with The Sun, Noel said, “It won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old… We’re too old to give a s**t now, so there won’t be any fallouts; there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.”

The brothers’ reunion was strengthened by a series of private meetings in which they discussed past grievances, personal progress, and common goals. Liam recognised Noel’s creative talents, while Noel appreciated Liam’s commitment to the band. In a moving Instagram post, Liam shared a snapshot of the two in black leather jackets with the message “Brothers for Life.”

Noel reacted by tweeting, “The brothers are back.” The reunion’s official announcement, which coincided with Oasis’ 30th anniversary, sparked enormous enthusiasm. Fans, who had long been torn by the brothers’ public dispute, were pleased with the news. However, there has been no information if other bandmates will be joining the brothers on tour.
