To mark the release of their new album Inertia, Pendulum’s Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen brought an electrifying DJ set to HERE at Outernet in London on September 5th.
The Australian outfit has long been celebrated for fusing drum and bass with the weight of hard rock and metal, and this show was a perfect showcase of that hybrid energy. The setlist blended tracks from Inertia with fan favourites and high-octane drum and bass remixes, keeping the crowd locked in from the first drop to the last beat.

On stage, McGrillen was the driving force of crowd interaction, hyping up the room and sparking mosh pits during the heavier, guitar-driven drops, while Swire focused intently on delivering razor-sharp mixes. Together, they struck a balance between chaos and precision, ensuring the energy never dipped.

The venue itself played its part: pulsating lights and thick waves of smoke heightened the intensity, creating an atmosphere that was at once euphoric, mysterious, and immersive. Fans responded in kind, dancing relentlessly and surging forward with every build and breakdown.
With Inertia, Pendulum have reignited their legacy, and this launch set proved why they remain one of the most explosive live forces in electronic music.
