Kerry pop-folk trio Simple Things release new single ‘Wait For Me’

Simple Things

Simple Things are a rising pop-folk trio from the heart of Kerry, made up of Dylan O’Sullivan (vocals, guitar), Kealan Cahill (accordion, keyboards), and Shane Kennedy (bass guitar, mandolin).

Dylan and Kealan began their musical journey at a young age, growing up immersed in music and playing Irish traditional sessions together as childhood friends, before gradually branching out and shaping their own pop-leaning sound.

Their latest single, “Wait For Me,” was co-written with Steve Garrigan of Kodaline.

Written alongside Garrigan, “Wait For Me” explores the emotional cost of ambition — the quiet tension between chasing a dream and leaving behind the person who matters most. It captures the realisation that success can feel hollow when the one you want beside you isn’t there to share it. Listen below.
