On the 5th of August, Anti-Flag performed at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham. The gig was brimming with incredibly positive yet rebellious punk energy. The phrase “No gods. No masters.” written on the frontman’s Justin Sane guitar made the band’s liberal, life-affirming, politically-driven message loud and clear.

“If someone falls, we pick them up!” was chanted by the band’s bassist Chris Barker, aka Chris #2, when a circle pit started forming on the dance floor. Anti-Flag is not just a band; it is a protest against war, corporate greed and injustice. Their passionate performance in Nottingham was what punk is all about.
