ZUBLUE to release debut EP 'Change the Channel' - Listen to track

Zublue are a high energy three piece Garage Rock band from Essex, UK. Influenced by the likes of Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Sonic Youth, the band’s debut EP ‘Change the Channel’ is an angst-ridden examination of a modern world controlled by the media.

The trio is made up of Dave Grohl’s stunt double, a man armed with a quiff of dangerous height and a bassist who holds his bass the wrong way around. Each of these three very different characters contributes to the band’s sound, with one underlying common aspect – energy. The band wanted to recapture the movement and energy of the bands they grew up watching but couldn’t find around them.

These three friends walked into a bar, started making a noise on stage and ended up recording in Brighton Electric studios, eventually finding themselves sneaking in at the last minute to play at a festival in their first summer of gigging. ‘Change the Channel’ is their debut EP.
