WOMAN'S HOUR - DANCING IN THE DARK - listen

Woman’s Hour are happy to announce the official release of their much loved cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Dancing in the Dark’ on Record Store Day.

For some, this inimitable rendition will have been the first time they were introduced to the band’s minimalist, emotionally charged sound before the release of their critically acclaimed debut Conversations last year.

Since then, the track has become a fan favourite and staple on their live set – it seems only right that track is released from the impalpability of the internet, to a tangible 12” on a day that honours physical music.

London based label Best Fit Recordings will be releasing 500 copies of the 12” on 18 April 2015. It will mark the label’s first Record Store Day release and their third birthday since launching in April 2012.

The 12” will also feature previously unreleased tracks ‘Sea of Silence’ and ‘The Shipping Forecast’
