WOLF ALICE – unveil ‘You’re A Germ’ as next single

WOLF ALICE - SHARE ‘BROS’ VIDEO - Watch

With their stunning debut album, My Love Is Cool, now racking up acclaim across the globe, London’s Wolf Alice are pleased to announce live favourite ‘You’re A Germ’ as their next single. Flirting with whispered menace and arms-aloft euphoria in equal measure, ‘You’re A Germ’ cements its position as a peg of My Love Is Cool’s effervescent personality from the off, with vocalist Ellie Rowsell inciting both spine-tingling scorn and all-out snarled malice.

It’s a track backed by furious screeches of guitars, every lick breaking free of the shackles of indie-rock and touching base with everything from ’90s grunge shoegaze to stadium-filling pop in the process. As Ellie states: “‘You’re A Germ’ is our angry song about a human germ we have to seek revenge on. We have been moved to see some of our fans singing it back to us at shows already… it’s a song only to be sang LOUDLY.”

With the band gearing up for a packed autumn on the road – including a homecoming headline date at Brixton Academy – ‘You’re A Germ’’s extended scope is the spark that will help their already incendiary live show burn even brighter.
