With today marking 25 years since Oasis released their iconic second album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’, Big Brother Recordings have released new limited edition album formats.

‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ is now available on a double silver coloured LP and picture disc on heavyweight vinyl, with remastered audio. Vinyl available from the official Oasis online store will also include a replica of Noel Gallagher’s handwritten lyrics for ‘Wonderwall’. Order all formats and listen to the album here.

‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ established Oasis as a national and international phenomenon. It includes several of Oasis’ biggest selling UK singles – the universally loved anthem ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘Roll With It’, ‘Some Might Say’ together with tracks like ‘She’s Electric’, ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’, which are timeless anthems and radio staples known to every generation of music fan. In the years since its release, the album has inspired thousands and is counted by dozens of successful bands and songwriters as a major influence on their careers.

In an exclusive new documentary ‘Return To Rockfield’, Noel Gallagher revisits the legendary studios in Wales where the album was recorded during May and June 1995 – offering fresh insights and his perspective on the album’s ongoing legacy. On the journey to the studio, Noel listened to the album for the first time in 25 years to try to make sense of why ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ continues to resonate so profoundly with Oasis fans old and new. “I understood it today. You know, the words, the melodies. Liam’s voice is on another level on that record. Because there’s nothing around today that even remotely comes near to it.”
