THE VINCENTS(S) RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'SONG FOR THE SEA' LISTEN HERE

“Is this not the sickest and most totally believable heavy rock motherfucker ever?”, are some of the words The Dandy Warhols’ Courtney Taylor-Taylor used to describe The Vincent(s) new belter, ‘Song for the Sea’.

So enamoured was the Dandy’s frontman by The Vincent(s) at Sea Sessions, that he contacted FIFA Records and asked if he could remix one of the tunes he caught during a blistering set. The result of this collaboration is a remix of ‘Song for the Sea’ – originally released on the band’s ‘Valley of the Sun’ EP – by Courtney and Brandon Eggleston (Swans, Modest Mouse).

Raw recordings, noise and psych are The Vincent(s) weapons of choice, with roots firmly planted in surf sounds and early 90s alt-guitar grooves. Marcus Allen’s unmistakably Irish vocal is a soul searching paean that moves effortlessly from light into darkness.

The Vincent(s) have already had national and international recognition with their ridiculously good debut on FIFA Records, ‘Asked Her To The Dance’, and with notable icons like Courtney Taylor-Taylor getting involved at this early stage, The Vincent(s) are set to enter 2015 as one this country’s most exciting young acts.

The Vincent(s) release ‘Song for the Sea’ on FIFA Records this October 10th before embarking on an Irish and UK tour with iconic space rockers The Telescopes.
