The Gulps are an invigorating new London band fuelled by rock music at its best who demand to be heard with their unique take on classic power pop. They harvest a sound that blends the energy of punk with a refined pop sensibility. Charisma, electricity and enthusiasm band together to ignite a combustive mix of on-stage attitude and sound that invites the listener to a full-on Gulp club open for all.

The band has been playing all around the UK and France, including gigs in London, Paris, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Sheffield. Headlining classic venues, such as The Dublin Castle, New Cross In, Le Truskel and so on, while also featuring in various local festivals such as Byline, Camden Rocks, Soma Fest and Alma Street Fest- all household names on the UK gig circuit.

Much like The Gulps themselves, this year is shaping up to be one hell of an intense ride, with future dates confirmed in Nantes, Leeds, Portsmouth, London and many other killer cities.

July 2018 saw the band spend a week at The Doghouse Studios recording their debut EP “In The Kings House” with legendary producer and Killing Joke bassist Martin Glover “Youth”. The EP produced by “Youth” is available for Pre-order and will be released on the 19th of April 2019 by his new label “Youth Sounds”.

To celebrate its launch the band will be presenting it on the 20th of April at Portobello’s Mau Mau Bar sharing the stage with Alex Patterson, Youth, Gaudi and a long list of other incredible artists.
