VIDEO PREMIERE: The Daydream Club - Rolling Out The Fire

Today XS Noize is pleased to exclusively premiere the video for ‘Rolling Out The Fire’ from The Daydream Club’s new album All Our Born Days.

Set for a full UK release on 5 November, All Our Born Days is the seventh album release from The Daydream Club in 11 years. Made a decade after forming, All Our Born Days draws upon the lifespan of The Daydream Club, a multi-genre music duo formed in 2010 of now husband and wife pairing Adam and Paula Pickering.

Lyrically Adam & Paula explore what they have witnessed and experienced, the good and the bad, in both global and personal events over those years. Musically it’s a culmination of a decade of their sounds, coming together in one cinematic album that draws on influences ranging from folk, indie, electronic and classical crossover, showcasing their adventurous body of work.

As with all of The Daydream Club’s releases Adam and Paula have personally created every aspect of the record from writing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering to the artwork, photos and music videos… there’s no big team between audience and artist, just two people creating their own art.

Independently produced and self-released and with a catalogue as wide-ranging as it is distinctive, as multi-instrumentalists, songwriters, composers and producers, the duo are able to step away from the limitations of a traditional band setup and embrace the freedoms reserved for the likes of cinematic composers. Following the success of their classical crossover album Piano Project (2016) they were nominated for the Best Digital Artist award by MusicAlly.

Under the artistic vision of former Creative Director Christopher Bailey, they collaborated with major fashion house Burberry over the course of several years on multiple campaigns; bespoke compositions, interactive window displays, apps, catwalks, live performances and as models. They have been involved in various other musical projects with features in broadcast television, film, animation, commercials and branded content, some of which include BBC’s Football Focus, the award winning independent film The Endless Winter II, HomeGoods, AXA, and Merrell.

Over the years, The Daydream Club have featured in the likes of Vogue, Rolling Stone, Acoustic and Pianist Magazine for their introspective and often filmic compositions and achievements as a self-released artist.
