Say ‘Never Give Up’ on fiery new single ft iSTAND & Danny Sprang out now via Buttercuts Records British rap duo Rebel ACA & French Monkey Wrench channel dancehall and 00s UK hip-hop on Fahrenheit-busting new track ‘Never Give Up’ out now through Buttercuts Records. Fusing hook-laden rhythms with biting social commentary, the track features the superstar talents of Jamaican MC iSTAND, Dancehall legend Danny Sprang and a remix by long-time collaborator Lil’ Rossco.
Rebel ACA details the track: “This was originally written in the Butterhut NW10 (London) over one afternoon and gave it to Lil’ Rossco to remix. Well he made an even better song. Except iStand now sounds like a Dalek. Never one to quibble over whose oranges are juiciest when the pips are down, we are proudly releasing his version instead.”
He goes on to add: “Life isn’t easy and has a habit to feel like a queue of people that has lined up to punch you in the face. So don’t give up. Ever. We filmed this tongue in cheek video playing with the more minor comedy matters that test your patience.

Rebel ACA and French met nearly 15 years ago, as one managed, and the other produced a funk reggae band. And ever since – their completely opposite nature in almost every way – has kept them attracted, like a nut and ratchet. Lil’ Rossco is, without a doubt, the best mashup DJs Melbourne has ever produced. Originally a drummer, he is the DJ who can make anyone dance, and anyone cry – without being cheesy. His has been producing for decades, developing his unique style. Responsible for much of the production and recording of Spragga Benz Chiliagon project as a whole – nicknamed “Rosscafari” by Spragga – his infectious storytelling in the beat shines through.
