VIDEO PREMIERE: Medusa's Spite - Destinations

Medusa’s Spite was born in 1996 and began to experiment with Indie and electronic music moving towards a mixture of different genres. Floating Around, their first album took shape between 1997 and 1998 (it boasts 36,000 copies sold in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

After Floating Around, the band produced the two albums Morning Doors and Morning Doors (The Glass Path), a concept of two CDs where we also find them as executive producers.

The whole work was recorded and mixed between Rome (Spite room) and Liverpool (Parr street studios) and mastered in London at “The Exchange”, the same place where the sound of “Floating around” got its definitive colour. The band’s video “Soon” directed by Simone Pellegrini with whom the band continues to collaborate currently, received 4 nominations and the award for best director at MEI 2008 – Independent Italian Video Awards. The band’s music has also been used multiple times as a soundtrack for TV shows and movies.

Destinations is the first single from the forthcoming album, the band then plan on releasing another 4-5 singles before the album is released in December 2021. The single, written by Stefano Daniele and produced with his brother Paolo Daniele is mixed at Abbey Road Studios by Paul Pritchard and mastered in Exmouth at The Exchange by Mike Marsh.

Three weeks after the Italian release of the single, ‘Destinations’ exceeded 42,000 streams on Spotify and more than 18,000 average listeners in December and over 10.000 views of the video on Youtube.

A listening success that is getting stronger by the hour. The Video of the song sees the artistic direction of the two brothers Stefano and Paolo Daniele and the editing of Alessio Borgonuovo.
