VIDEO PREMIERE: Grace Savage - shares live acoustic session of ‘Cracks’ - Watch Now

An evolving talent Grace Savage cut her teeth, rising through the beat-boxing scene picking up numerous awards, she has taken those skills and transformed them into something better. We love this intimate, acoustic version of her new single ‘Cracks’ and she certainly has done something special with the new synth-pop leaning EP ‘Cracks’ out now.

She says: “This EP contains a lot more collaborations than the previous two as I branched out to work with new producers (namely Badoos and James Yuill) and as a result it feels more varied in texture and hopefully more sonically diverse. There are a few personal songs I have been meaning to write for a while but never felt like the time was right. It feels good to finally get them out. I hope it shows that I’ve grown and matured as a songwriter but also that I understand not to take it all too seriously hence the millennial piss-take song “snowflake”. There are some thinkers, there are some bangers, there are some thinky-bangers (that’ll be my next Spotify playlist title sorted) and I hope there is something in it for everyone. If not, screw ‘em. I’m well proud of it”.

Grace Savage released her highly anticipated debut EP “Savage Grace” in 2017. The release instantly grabbed acclaim from tastemakers THE 405, WONDERLAND and CLASH Magazine among others.

Grace’s first single of 2018, ‘Headlights’ was made track of the day on CLASH music, followed by a premiere on The Line Of Best Fit with her cover of The Cardigans 1998 classic ‘My Favourite Game’, both maintaining her signature electronic pop sound, matched with ethereal tones. She celebrated the launch of her follow up EP ‘Control Freak’ with a packed show at the Sebright Arms following a Red Bull Live Session and an “Introducing feature” in the Metro. Grace’s latest single “Running Under Water” premiered with Complex in June and was picked up by BBC Introducing to be made Radio 1’s Track Of The Week at the end of September.

Grace’s unique ability to mix her award-winning beatboxing, live looping skills and melodic vocals have made her live performances much sort after at festivals and arts events.
