Finnish DJ and producer Rony Rex creates anticipation for his forthcoming EP, Night Time CV, with the release of “Awake Me,” a mesmerizing club track featuring French duo SACRE.
Rony Rex broke out in 2017, releasing “Sticky Fingers,” followed by another golden hit, “Milk It”, with dance vocalist Carla Monroe. The song received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and was slotted in on Billboard’s Dance chart and showcased on 02, Love Island UK, Nickelodeon, and Stella McCartney’s catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.
Renowned for his extraordinary DJ performances, including a giant floating unicorn, a hovercraft, and the top of the Pasila radio tower in Helsinki, His talent only rivals Rony Rex’s showmanship as a DJ.
Since releasing this year’s “Fabric,” on which he once again teamed up with Carla Monroe, Rony Rex turned his attention to his upcoming EP, Night Time CV, releasing first “Storm” and now “Awake Me.” Joining forces with electronic pop duo SACRE, aka Sukil and Hawaii, on “Awake Me,” Rony Rex reveals his ingenuity for picking collaborators.
“Awake Me” opens on a deep, pulsing rhythm topped by polychromatic, percolating synths as Sukil’s seductive voice imbues the lyrics with exotic sensuous timbres.

At once bewitching and potent, “Awake Me” offers a hypnotic club banger highlighted by the splendid voice of Sukil.
