TRACK PREMIERE: modernlove - Use Me

Ireland’s modernlove. have rapidly become one of indie-pop’s brightest and most talked about new bands. This October they will make their ‘Ireland Music Week’ debut and are releasing a new single, the upbeat synth-infused ‘Use Me’ on 25/09 ahead of their performance.

XS Noize is pleased to premiere ‘Use Me’ today! modernlove are the most promising musical band to come from Ireland in a long time. ‘Use Me’ is a captivating catchy and melodic earworm of a song. Listen – BELOW:

 

2019 saw the release of singles ‘Bop’ and ‘Liquorice’, 2020 saw the release of ‘Hard To Tell You’ and low-fi electronic track ‘If You Wanna See Me’. With streaming figures at over half a million on Spotify, they’ve been featured on editorial playlists such as New Music Friday UK (with every release in the past year) as well as editorial play listing on Fresh Finds Pop & Fresh Finds Indie, Chilled Pop Hits, A Breath of Fresh Eire, Alt.Pop, New Pop Revolution and The Pop List.

Singles ‘Bop’ and ‘Liquorice’ were also featured in recent episodes of the Channel 4 series ‘Made in Chelsea’, and the band performed a SOLD OUT Dublin headline show in The Sound House in February 2020.

The band are making a name for themselves for crafting some seriously catchy upbeat indie & alt-pop anthems. Known for their dazzling live performances and polished vibrant recordings, international recognition is certain to arrive soon for modernlove.

Recent release ‘If You Wanna See Me’, is a stunning lo-fi electronic track which sets them apart as a band whose sound and style flow and evolve seamlessly. This release alongside new electronic-infused ‘Use Me’ will hopefully see a whole new audience discovering modernlove.
