TRACK PREMIERE: Gypsy Circus - A Place To Stay

Gypsy Circus continues to showcase diversity and richness to their songwriting as they release the heartfelt new single, A Place To Stay. Ranging from high the octane alt.rock of Holy Lights and Shadows, to the poignant, lo-fi acoustic ballad of the forthcoming single A Place To Stay, Gypsy Circus illustrate their dexterity on each and every new release. Following recent single Thin Ice, a euphoric jangling rock banger, A Place To Stay sees the foursome concoct another striking arrangement.

Opening with beautifully plucked guitar notes, the track is enveloped in the ever impressive vocals of Aaron King. Complimented by King’s clever use of key changes and combined the juxtaposition of the gorgeous female harmonisation, A Place To Stay is a reflective, wistful rock ballad with bittersweet lyrics, infectious in its delivery.

Gypsy Circus talk about the song:

‘A Place To Stay’ is about asking questions that make you feel vulnerable. The song is from a male point of view and often, as men, we ignore hard hitting truths and avoid asking uncomfortable questions. This is obviously detrimental to your mental health and relationships. Instrumentally, the song is different from anything we have done. There is less pace to it compared with our previous tunes but it really suits the music and the message behind the song.”
