Catfish and the Bottlemen are back with their latest single Longshot. The single is released Tuesday 8th January 2019 ahead of their third album due out in the Spring. It’s been quite a ride for Van McCann (vocals, guitars), Johnny Bond (guitars), Robert ‘Bob’ Hall (drums) and Benji Blakeway (bass) since their 2014 debut album The Balcony went platinum and then 2016’s number one album The Ride.

Since then they’ve sold one million albums and played live extensively including Cardiff Castle and Don Valley Stadium to name two and tours to Japan, Australia, USA and South America. Last summer they teasingly played their first track Fluctuate from the long-awaited album to a highly charged concert of fans.

So the youthful quartet are back with another slice of indie-rock in their own vein. This is another sing-a-long track with a thumping rhythm and taut guitars. “One of our longshots paid off” sings McCann to a catchy, driven beat that will have you tapping your feet. They are fired, ready to go once more.
