TRACK OF THE DAY: ALL THIS NOISE - ‘Seven Billion Like You’

West London band All This Noise have come a long way in the short time since they formed late in 2014. Their second release ‘Ghost Shirt’ has an even harder edge than their “different and original” debut single ‘Seven Billion Like You’, which received ecstatic coverage in the blogosphere and caught the attention BBC Radio with plays by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 and Gary Crowley on BBC London. 2015 is a huge year for ATN as they finish their debut album and play their biggest show to date on Rob Da Bank’s “favourite stage” at this year’s Bestival.

The founding duo are James on lead vocal and guitars and Alan as bassist and producer. When not writing or performing music, James has moonlit in music journalism as a writer and/or sub-editor for publications such as Mixmag and the Guardian Music Blog. Alan has worked in music for several years. Mint Royale, Charlie XCX and, most recently, Wolf Alice are among many artists who have recorded in his studio.

The band have expanded their live act to include Venezuelan rhythm expert Lya on drums and percussion and they  are fast-gaining a fierce reputation for the power and impact of their stage shows.
