THE WHO, one of rock’s legendary and defining bands has today announced that they are to headline the sold out Glastonbury Festival on Sunday June 28th 8 years after they first played there.

ROGER DALTREY “It’s great to be ending this part of a 50 year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world. We’ll do our best to close this year’s event with a bang, unless of course the fireworks get wet!”

One of the greatest live bands of all time, prior to the already sold out Glastonbury festival THE WHO will take to the Great Oak Stage in London’s iconic Hyde Park for the fourth time on Friday 26th June with very special guests PAUL WELLER, KAISER CHIEFS, JOHNNY MARR, GAZ COOMBES, SLEAFORD MODS, VINTAGE TROUBLE and many more.

During this final weekend of June the band will take the audience on an ‘Amazing Journey’ through their entire career from the days of THE HIGH NUMBERS to classic albums such as WHO’S NEXT, TOMMY, QUADROPHENIA, MY GENERATION, LIVE AT LEEDS up to the present day.

One week before they play Glastonbury The Who will play Belfast’s Odyssey Arena Sunday 21st JUNE and The 3 Arena, Dublin Tuesday 21st June.
