Fast-rising Liverpool psychedelic rockers The Vryll Society have announced the release of their brand new single Shadow Of A Wave via Deltasonic Records, continuing their surge of success which has seen them conquering the BBC Introducing stage over at SXSW earlier this year and finalise plans for their highly anticipated debut album.

Having released a series of critically acclaimed singles over the past few years, including live favourites ‘Sacred Flight’ and ‘A Perfect Rhythm’, the swaggering psych-pop quintet have built up a strong grassroots following, culminating in appearances at the likes of Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and TRNSMT over the past twelve months.

Widespread support from BBC Introducing has arrived in the form of appearances at their SXSW showcase and a Maida Vale live session in the first half of 2017, whilst substantial praise from Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Phil Taggart (BBC Radio 1) and Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music) has further increased their profile and lead to the five-piece sharing bills with acts including Blossoms, The Coral and The Kooks.

Ahead of their next release, the band are currently staging monthly residencies in their hometown, spearheading a new generation and showcasing the city’s finest emerging talent before headlining their own UK tour later this year.

Produced and engineered by Joe Fearon and Tom Longworth (Parr Street Studios, Liverpool), The Vryll Society’s Shadow Of A Wave, “a driving love song searching down a motoric boulevard”, is released on 4th August via Deltasonic Records.
