THE STRYPES - Release New Track ‘Great Expectations' + Announce Tour Dates

Ahead of the imminent release of their brand new album ‘Spitting Image’ on Friday, today The Strypes share another new track ‘Great Expectations’, along with a string of UK headline tour dates for the autumn.

This week, the widely celebrated Irish four-piece will release their third studio album. ‘Spitting Image’, which has been produced by Ethan Johns, has been hailed a fabulously diverse record that effortlessly transcends the band’s roots in adrenalized R&B, whilst perfectly capturing the bands renowned on-stage fizzing chemistry.

Like its predecessors ‘Oh Cruel World’ and current single ‘Behind Closed Doors’, ‘Great Expectations’ sees The Strypes doing what exactly what they do best – thrilling drum rolls and rousing guitar riffs that perfectly echo the vibe of Irish rock icon Phil Lynott.
