THE STAVES join OPEN HOUSE BANGOR line-up

English indie-folk trio The Staves are the latest band to be announced for this year’s Open House Festival, Bangor. The concert will take place on Thursday 22nd August in the beautiful setting of First Bangor church – the same venue where Villagers will play the following night.

Sisters Emily, Jessica and Camilla are known for their unique blend of British folk with breezy Americana and have worked closely with the likes of Bon Ever and First Aid Kit.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing The Staves to Bangor for this year’s festival,” said Kieran Gilmore, Open House Director. “Their gig will set up a vibrant programme of great music for the bank holiday weekend, with Villagers the following night and The Specials on Sunday 25th playing an outdoor concert on Bangor Seafront.

Tickets, priced at £29.50 including ALL fees and charges, go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 1 May from www.openhousefestival.com The show will finish at 10pm – giving people plenty of time to catch the last train back to Belfast at 10.27pm.
