THE SCRIPT share the new acoustic version of their international hit and fan favourite ‘Superheroes’

THE SCRIPT announce new career-spanning greatest hits album ‘Tales From The Script’ - Out October 1st 1

The Script today share the new acoustic version of their international hit and fan favourite ‘Superheroes’. The song features on ‘The Acoustic Sessions 3’ collection, which will be released on March 17th. Today also sees The Script release the long-awaited vinyl format of their Silver-certified UK and Ireland #1 greatest hits album ‘Tales From The Script’.

Originally released in 2014, ‘Superheroes’ is one of The Script’s biggest hits to date. Peaking at #3 in the UK and hitting Top 10 charts all over the world, the single has since exceeded a phenomenal 500 million streams. Stripped back to acoustic guitar and drums, the song maintains its uplifting energy as Danny O’Donoghue’s towering voice celebrates the underdogs and unsung heroes that surround us, hidden in plain sight.

‘The Acoustic Sessions 3’ will be completed by new takes on ‘Paint The Town Green’, ‘I Want It All’ and ‘Good Ol’ Days’.

‘Tales From The Script’ documents The Script’s story so far, as it highlights classic cuts from the trio’s catalogue, including the #1 smash ‘Hall of Fame’ (featuring will.i.am) and the Top 10 hits ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘For The First Time’ and ‘Superheroes’. The album is now available on green double-vinyl HERE, its colour reflecting their Irish heart and coming ahead of St. Patrick’s Day next week.

The Script will kick-start the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by sharing a live video of ‘Paint The Town Green’ at 5 pm on Wednesday, March 16th. Captured during their show at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, it’s a song that turns your city into Dublin wherever you may be.
