THE MEMBRANES play their biggest hometown show, Live at Manchester's Ritz

The Membranes play their biggest hometown show to date on Saturday April 29th at The Ritz, Manchester. The show, which is set to sell out, will see the band play the whole of their critically acclaimed Dark Matter/Dark Energy album accompanied by a 25 piece choir – this ambitious approach to their live shows has already proved to be a huge hit with audiences at festivals in the UK and across Europe, generating unanimously positive reviews.

The highly influential and groundbreaking Manchester band band reformed four years ago after one of their many influences My Bloody Valentine invited them to perform at ATP Festival.

The show at Manchester’s Ritz will be a unique event. Along with the 25 piece choir, the band will screen their film ‘Universe Explained. Support comes from Brix and the Extricated, Evil Blizzard, Dub Sex, The Nightingales, The Blinders and The Empty Page.
