Last night, Brian and Michael D’Addario debuted their live band on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night TV show. Watch the five-piece perform singles ‘Small Victories’ and ‘The Fire’ below.

Released last month, Go To School tells the coming-of-age story of Shane, a pure-hearted chimpanzee raised as a human boy. Todd Rundgren and the brothers’ mother Susan Hall play Shane’s parents. The 15-track opus was written, recorded, produced and mixed by the D’Addario brothers in their Long Island home and features contributions from Jody Stephens (Big Star) and their father Ronnie D’Addario.

The Lemon Twigs emerged in 2016 with their debut LP Do Hollywood , which was praised by Rolling Stone for “toting hooky songs that stand out for their intricate arrangements and delectable melodies” and the Guardian who declared it “a triumph of detailed richness and sumptuous melody, of anthemic chants and winsome ballads.” The band quickly earned fans in Elton John, Questlove, and Jack Antonoff among many others, the latter of whom said, “Prediction: The Lemon Twigs will usher in a new phase of rock.” Since then, the D’Addario brothers have released the 6-track Brothers of Destruction EP and one-off single ‘Foolin’ Around’ / ‘Tailor Made’ .
