THE FAIM - Announce Headline Belfast Show at OH YEAH MUSIC CENTRE, Wednesday August 28th 2019

Australian pop-rock quartet The Faim are pleased to announce a headline Belfast show on Wednesday, August 28th 2019 at the Oh Yeah Music Centre.

THE FAIM came into existence as naturally as their music. The Australian pop-rock quartet met while in high school in Perth, Australia, and the friends soon began penning their own songs, inspired by bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, and Metallica, and an array of musical influences, from indie rock to jazz, to pop-punk. Renowned producer, John Feldmann, was so impressed with the band’s early demos that he flew the group out to Los Angeles in 2017, where they wrote and recorded two songs per day and enlisted the help of several notable co-writers, including Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, Mark Hoppus of blink-182, Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots, and Ashton Irwin of 5 Seconds of Summer.

Since their launch last February, THE FAIM has been an artist on the rise, to say the least. They unveiled their critically acclaimed debut EP, Summer Is a Curse, toured exhaustively worldwide, supporting the likes of PVRIS, Sleeping With Sirens, and Against the Current, and playing European festival staples including Reading & Leeds, Slam Dunk, and more. The four-piece also just wrapped their first ever headline tour of Australia and Europe, with the majority of shows completely selling out.

THE FAIM’s early success is evidence of the importance of belief and hard work, and what it means when you’re willing to make sacrifices for your art. The band is currently working on their debut album, which is slated for release in September. Stay tuned for more news to come.
