The Beatles release the official video for The Beatles’ “Taxman”, directed by Danny Sangra. “Taxman” is the first track from the Revolver album’s newly remixed and expanded Special Edition releases.

The track was recorded across three Abbey Road Studio Two sessions in April and May 1966. One of three songs on the album by George, in “Taxman”, he expresses his frustration with the UK’s ‘super-rich’ tax rate at the time (90%) with a vocal wink to the “Batman” TV theme song.

With Revolver, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr set sail together across a new musical sea.

Showcasing GRAMMY-winning original album artwork created by Klaus Voormann, Revolver’s Super Deluxe CD and vinyl sets include a beautiful book featuring Paul McCartney’s foreword, an introduction by Giles Martin, an enlightening essay by Questlove, and insightful chapters by Kevin Howlett.
