TEXAS drop the striking video for their latest single ‘Unbelievable’

Texas have today dropped the striking video for their latest single ‘Unbelievable’ – featuring Sharleen Spiteri’s daughter Misty, playing a young version of her Mum. The track is taken from their #3 charting album ‘Hi’.

Shot in black & white, and directed by Oscar and BAFTA-nominated director Sean Ellis, the video sees Sharleen directing a music video featuring Misty playing a young version of her. Intercut with performances from the pair of them, the video is a beautiful mirror image to accompany an equally beautiful song – watch BELOW:

Of the video, Sharleen comments; “This is a very emotional song for me and now it’s gone to a different level with my daughter Misty Kyd starring in the video”

Produced by Johnny McElhone and Angelica Bjornsson, ‘Unbelievable’ is a spine-tingling piano ballad accompanied by soaring orchestral parts. “We don’t usually do ballads, but this one really stuck,” says Sharleen. “It’s so intimate and personal, but also really epic.”

Texas’ 10th album, ‘Hi’ is a stunning result of looking back with eyes fixed firmly on the future. Collaborations include ‘Hi’ with Wu-Tang Clan and the superb single ‘Mr Haze’.
