THE SLOW READERS CLUB 'DON'T MIND'

I very rarely listen to radio, but sometimes when I do a song will stop me in my tracks to listen intently. This is what happened when I heard ‘Don’t Mind’ by The Slow Readers Club. The indie-electro Manchester based band have created a beautiful heartfelt song which deals with the end of a relationship when one half can’t let go. The song was inspired by the Smiths ‘I know Its over’.

Vocalist Aaron Starkie’s saddened voice sits on top of the most melancholic electronic keyboards and guitars producing gorgeous spaced out melodies that reflect the feeling of heartbreak and betrayal.
‘Dont Mind’ is the 2nd track released this year from their forthcoming second album, and if it sounds as good as this I certainly ‘Dont Mind’, excellent stuff!
