SAMUEL JACK shares a new live version of his viral hit ‘Feels Like Summer’

UK singer-songwriter Samuel Jack is in the middle of a huge breakthrough moment with his single ‘Feels Like Summer’. One of the first tracks to impact after going viral on Instagram Reels, the song exploded on TikTok, and started flying up countless Viral Charts at Spotify. Recently boosted by an equally evocative video and a fresh run of tastemaker approval, the song has now exceeded 15 million streams globally.

Now Samuel again connects with that summer feeling by sharing a brand new live version of the song, along with a video of the performance.

Filmed at London’s famous RAK Studios, this new version of ‘Feels Like Summer’ is just as affecting as the original. Reflecting his love for blues, Motown and soul, Samuel’s live vocal is sensational, providing a whole-hearted but still gritty topline that has undeniable pop appeal. Watch BELOW:

Samuel says, “Recording this version of Feels Like Summer live, together, with a full band in a stunning studio was a vibe.”

Samuel Jack has more than paid his dues ahead of his first major crossover single. He started writing poetry and music as he travelled the world in his late teens, and independently released his first EP back in 2016. Three volumes of his ‘Empty Pockets, Crowded Heart’ EP series plus a succession of singles followed, which allowed him to nurture a loyal grassroots fanbase. There were hints of the success that would eventually follow – an invite to play Glastonbury, a tour as guest to Jack Savoretti – but it was often a struggle. He specifically remembers driving home from a gig in London to his antiquated caravan home in the south-west, having barely made enough money to cover the cost of petrol.

Inspired by reminiscing with a friend over a pint, ‘Feels Like Summer’ now promises a world of new adventures for Samuel. Each day brings fresh surprises, whether it’s the track climbing charts across Europe and North America, suddenly impacting in the Seychelles, featuring in ‘Love Island’, or being used in videos by famous names as varied as Sergios Ramos and Jamie Oliver.

The next chance to hear Samuel’s world class talent shine comes when he headlines London’s Omeara on September 14th. Tickets are available here.
