THE PRODIGY TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'NASTY NASTY' IN JANUARY

NME have reported that The Prodigy are to release new single ‘Nasty Nasty’ in January, the band’s first new song since 2009’s album ‘Invaders Must Die’. The band teased six different alternative versions for the single’s artwork on their Instagram page, but it’s not known which if any of the sleeves is the finished design. The precise release date of the single hasn’t been revealed, but the sixth posting stated: “Single 1, Jan the …..”

The song is one of six known track names for The Prodigy’s as-yet-untitled sixth album, which is due out in February, according to a Q interview with Liam Howlett in October. Howlett stated ‘Nasty Nasty’ featured “some trippy Winston Churchill vibe in the middle”. It features lead vocals by Keith Flint.

Other songs known to feature on the album include ‘Beyond The Death Ray’, ‘Get Your Fight On’ and ‘Wall Of Death’. Another confirmed album track, ‘Rockweiler’, has featured regularly in the band’s set since it was first played at Rock Am Ring in 2013.
